A highly accredited Hospital in the LA area is looking for its next Emergency Room RN Manager. This facility is looking for a highly motivated and progressive individual to join its leadership team to lead the Emergency Department.
The Emergency Room RN Manager will have the opportunity to join an award winning team in the great Los Angeles Area. This facility has almost a 100 year history of providing excellent care to the surrounding area and has been named in the top 5% of hospitals nationally in both patient care and care quality. Some of the main service lines provided include Orthopedic Care, Cardiac Services, Critical Care Services, as well as Robotics Surgical Services. This facility has been named "Best Hospital" by a highly nationally recognized publication and is looking to the new RN manager to continue that exceptional care.
This position will report to the Director of Emergency services and will work closely with the Director to maintain hospital standards and drive the vision and goals of the facility throughout the department. The Emergency Room RN Manager will be expected to lead a team of RN's and Emergency Technicians and will be supported by multiple Emergency Services Assistant Managers as well as CEN Charge Nurses to assist with the day to day operations of the unit.
This unit offers 24-hour emergency services to the surrounding area and sees an estimated 27,000 patients both admitted and non admitted annually. The Emergency Room RN Manager will be a vital asset to the success of this fast paced Emergency Unit.
The Emergency RN Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the Emergency Department. They will provide training and mentorship to the staff to enhance the staff's clinical skills and knowledge. They will be an advocate for their staff to upper management providing their employees with a voice to acknowledge what they need to continue their development and for the unit operation to run in a seamless manner. The RN Manager will also be responsible for the administration duties of the unit including scheduling, performance reviews, as well as managing the Unit budget to ensure the Department remains fiscally responsible. The ideal candidate will also embody the vision and values of the facility and will ensure the department follows all procedural and clinical guidelines to provide safe and timely care to all patients.
